Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation Scholarship Guidelines
Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) sponsors four $1,000 scholarships annually. The Scholarships are for Medical Students from the catchment area of Soldiers Memorial Hospital covering Aylesford to Bridgetown inclusive and as far south as Springfield.
Application Deadline is 28 June 2024. Please include the following:
- A letter stating full name, address, phone number, email and please include interests, extra-curricular activities, volunteer work, employment history and why you have chosen a career in medicine. (500 Words)
- Two letters of reference
- Name of the post-secondary institution you will be attending
- A current school transcript

Receipt of your application will be acknowledged.
Selection Committee Process:
The Selection Committee will review the Applications prior to 19 July, 2024 and contact the successful Candidate by email.
An Award Ceremony will take place in August where the successful Candidate will receive their Scholarship.
