Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation annually sponsors four $1000 Scholarships to support local Medical Students. Eligible applicants must reside within the Hospitalβs catchment area, which extends from Aylesford to Bridgetown inclusive, and as far south as Springfield.
Application Deadline: 10 July 2026. Include the following:
A letter stating full name, civic and mailing address, phone number, email and please include interests, extra curricular activities, sports, volunteer work, employment history and why you have chosen a career in medicine (500 words)
- Two letters of reference
- Name of the post-secondary Institution you will be attending
- A current school transcript

Selection Committee Process:
- The Selection Committee will review the Applications prior 17 July 2026 and contact the successful Candidate by EMAIL.
- An Award Ceremony will take place in August, where the successful Candidates will receive their Scholarship.
